Brenda Marlene Pettis

Brenda “Bebe” Pettis, 66 of Texarkana, Arkansas passed away on January 15, 2018 at a local nursing home. Mrs. Pettis was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Pettis, and her parents, Roland and Doris Brashear.

She was survived by her children and their spouses, Michelle Bearden and James Mattson, Roy and Melody Bearden, Sera and Michael McCorkle, all of Texarkana, Arkansas, Her 3 brothers and sister, Linda Sloss, of Comanche, OK, Wayne and Barbara Brashear, and Ted Brashear, Jr, of Benbrook, TX, and John and Dena Brashear of Midlothian, TX. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

The family invites you to join them in a celebration of life memorial service at 3:30 P.M. on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Corner Pointe Assembly of God Church, 4416 Jefferson Avenue, Texarkana, AR.

Services are under direction of East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.

Brenda - what can I say but that you were an amazing person and will always be in my heart. You lived some good times and fought some tough times, but now you are with everyone above. It saddens me as it seems our family has more in Heaven than on earth now, but I live in the fact that someday when I join you all, I will be happy to become a part of the party up there. I live now knowing that now my Dad can listen to you sing to him anytime he wants... peace to your family and they are in my prayers...

This women worms my heart every time I seen her,listen to her beautiful voice I loved and enjoyed , I wish I could have her songs recorded , loved the gospel also, we had a lot of laughs together, she's wasn't just a friend she's like family , I will miss her dearly, hard to say bye to someone so dearly, I just say I see Yu when I get there , lots of love
