Carroll W. Reid

Carroll W. Reid, 84, of Texarkana AR died January 20, 2014 at home. Mr. Reid was born November 25 1929 in Miller County, AR. He was a retired auto mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Bernice Reid; five brothers, Travis, Harvey, Ardell, Archie and James; and two sisters, Arnice Pope and Cora Bell Rushing.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Glendia Reid of Texarkana, AR; one daughter, Carolyn Floyd of Ashdown, AR; one stepson, RJ Alford and wife, Debbie of Texarkana, TX; four grandchildren, Joey Floyd and wife, Holly of Norfork, VA, Nicholas Floyd and Nicole Floyd of Ashdown, AR, D. C. Marbut of Texarkana, TX; two sisters, Ina Lee Morris of Lewisville, AR and Betty Marlene Caswell of Pearl, MS and a number of other relatives.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at East Funeral Home - Downtown, Texarkana, TX. Graveside services will be11 a.m., Thursday, January 23, 2014 in East Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 67 North, Texarkana, AR with Bro. Neal Ridling officiating. Burial is under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
