Don Cobb Sr.

George Donald Cobb Sr. left this world on 12/18/2014. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Cobb. He is survived by three children, Anneda Wallace, George Donald Cobb Jr. and Teresa Cobb Davis.; Five stepchildren, Jerry Shelton, Nancy Huddleston, Carroll Shelton, Derral Shelton and Sheryl Floyd; Five siblings, Letha Cletcher, Bonnie Jean Cross, Linda Farrell, Larry Cobb and Carl Cobb. He was also “Pa Don” to a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Being a member of the Fraternal Order of the Moose, he earned the degree of Pilgrim and was active in the local Lodge. Don was a six year veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam and other overseas and state side postings. He will be remembered as a man that loved family, friends and sharing time with those that appreciated fun.

Services will be 2 p.m., Monday, December 22, 2014 at East Memorial Chapel – Moores Lane with Rev. Dan Highnight officiating. Burial will be in Arkansas Veteran State Cemetery, Little Rock, AR at 11am Tuesday, December 30, 2014 under the direction of East Funeral Home – Moores Lane.

Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday December 21, 2014 at the funeral home.
