Donna Branch McAlester

Donna was a loving wife to her husband of 55 short years, Lanny McAlester, and mother of three wonderful children, Bruce, Bryan, and LaNita McAlester. She was most proud to be a grandmother to Lindsey McAlester, Eric Simmons, and Carol Simmons.

Donna was a Native American Artist for many years with works displayed in the Red Earth Native American Art Festival, as well as many other Southwest art shows. She did all this while being a full time caregiver for our daughter, LaNita, for twenty years. Family would like to give a special thank you to Sher, Linda and Tammie. You were her best friends. She had a love for gardening flowers and dogs, especially her poodles.

Funeral service will be at 11am Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at East Memorial Chapel-Moores Lane.Burial will be 1pm Thursday April 24, 2025 in Okmulgee, Ok Cemetery, Okmulgee, OK under the direction of East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.

Family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Monday, April 21, 2025 at the funeral home.
