Florine McWilliams

Florine McWilliams, 92, of Ashdown, AR passed away September 20, 2012 in an Ashdown, AR nursing home. Mrs. McWilliams was born July 29, 1920 in Texarkana, AR. She was a homemaker and a member of College Hill Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lenzy McWilliams; and a son, Lenzy Wayne McWilliams.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Pam McWilliams of Ashdown, AR; granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Rebecca and Alan Smith and Reba and Jason Finnessey all of Texarkana; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, David Wayne and Tiffany McWilliams of Ashdown, AR; granddaughters Diandra Humphrey of Atlanta, GA and Lisa McWilliams of Tyler, TX; great grandchildren; Tad and Ashley Cree, Trent and Maria Cree, Kameron McWilliams-Goodnight, Hunter Wayne McWilliams and a great great-grandchild ; Gabriel Layne Cree, niece and nephews; Jerry E. Shipp, Horace and Teresa Shipp and Donna Shipp.

Services will be 2 p.m., Monday, September 24, 2012 at East Memorial Chapel – Downtown

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made the Alzheimer's Association.

The family will be at # 8 Briar Ridge, Texarkana, AR.
