Mr. Barkman was born January 16th, 1930 in Hooks, Texas. He was the retired owner of Barkman Plumbing and a life long farmer in Bowie County and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Barkman was wonderful husband, father and grandfather that loved his family dearly.
He was preceded in death by his wife Helen C. Barkman; a son Howard Barkman and his sister Sarah Barkman; parents John and Eula Barkman.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law; Henry Barkman Jr. and his wife Michelle and a grandson John Jake Barkman.
Come and go viewing will be held on Tuesday July 8th, 2025 at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm.
The family will have family only private graveside service.
