Survivors include his sons, Eric Smart and Alex Rains and daughters Kayla Smeltzer and Lori Smart all of Texarkana; brothers, Charles W. Smart of Bullard, TX and Bud Smart of Texarkana; sisters, Patricia Rowe of Tyler, TX, Shirley Kester of Las Vegas, NV and Geraldine Steward of Texarkana; plus numerous grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Rev. Neal Floyd officiating. Burial will be under the direction of East Funeral Home – Downtown.
The family will be at the home of Bud Smart at 175 MC 452, Texarkana, AR and will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, November 17, 2012 at East Funeral Home – Downtown.
