Sorry,I sm always late but it was great to see her grown up in Singing Pines right behind me. We may not have been friends but we were neighbors.

I was nervous and hesitant when I first started going to Liberty-Eylau in the 8th grade but, in band, I got to look at Kaylan. Over the next five years I had the privilege to witness God’s image expressed through the multi billion faceted vessel we all loved as Kaylan. She was magical and she was kind. She was more than words could ever. I can’t begin to understand the pain in those near and dear to her. You have my heart, thoughts and prayers. I’ve learned a lot in life but know very little. If there is one thing I know for certain, it’s that this experience of life is but a flash of light, however, there is no death for spirit. We will spend eternity with those we love doing things our minds can’t comprehend. I love you Kaylan and I can’t wait to see you again.

Kaylan,
WOW!!...never thought in a million years I would be typing these words on your digital obituary. I can remember the times we would look forward to going to grandmas together, and how when we were little girls we would ALWAYS holds hands everywhere we went. We shared great memories together, and most of them we shared at grandma's house. I will miss the many times we would sit at the table and wait on grandma's famous pancakes or grits; and how you would always overload your grits with sugar. I loved you then and I still love you now.
Love Cousin,
Jessica

Words simply aren’t enough to express my deepest condolences with this heavy heart of mine. Therefore, I ask and pray for strength, comfort, understanding, financial blessings, and mental guidance right now, for the Stevens family and loved ones. It really didn’t matter the day, hour, city, state, or even country in which “Irene” would call or meet; and we’d pour wisdom, and positive things into one another. Otherwise, I verbally protested or better know as (Cursed) when needed which I guess helped our relationship grow haha. “Continue your journey sweet soul”. ❤️

Kaylan and I have been friends since Mrs. Tiptons kindergarten class of 94 and one of my best friends after that! Kaylan used to write my love notes in middle school because my hand writing was and is so bad lol. From sleepover to band engagements, class project to being mothers! Kaylan had a light that infiltrated every person she came in contact with and it kills me that I wasn’t there to remind her of that everyday if needed be. My condolence to Mrs.Cynthia, Mr. Larry, Kalyan's first baby Olivia and the love of her life Noelle. I love you K Money! Rest well my friend!

Kaylan and my daughter, RaKetra, were cheerleaders together at LE; it was shear joy watching them grow into beautiful young ladies. Sending my thoughts, prayers, love and condolences to Kaylan's family and friends.

Kaylan, you were a part of our lives for many years. I remember when our precious Noelle was a baby, you jokingly said that you were tired of everyone saying how much she looked like Ethan. You said, “I think she looks like ME! Squint real hard! You’ll see it too!” I assured you that the older Noelle got, the more she would look like you. We see you in her now and we don’t have to squint. We can look at her with wide, adoring eyes and see your beauty, your brilliance, and your playful spirit. They live on in her. Rest In Peace, rest in love, and rest in the knowledge that Noelle will always have a village of love and support surrounding her.
To Larry, Cynthia, and Olivia, we love you and are here for you always. Our God is Able!
