Loretta Samek

She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene of Texarkana. A Graduate of Texarkana College and had been previously employed by Cooper Tire Co. and Texarkana National Bank. Loretta was Christian and loved the Lord. She had a passion for art, singing, and photography. Loretta was proud to receive her college degree later in her life. She had a kind and giving heart and a funny sense of humor. Loretta loved her family and friends.

Mrs. Samek is preceded in death by her parents, Adolph Samek and Lenna Mae Vann Samek, her Aunt Benny Evans.

Survived by two step-sons and their families, Claude Ratliff of Van Buran, AR and his children, Jonathan, Michael, and Jennifer. Kenneth Ratliff of Lancaster, CA and his family, wife Martha and children, Ruth, Rebecca, and John. Cousins, Maudie Folyer of Texarkana, TX, Debra Walsh of Texarkana, TX, Gary Evans of Childress, TX, Pat Lessler of Benton, AR. Friend, Debbie Holman of Texarkana, AR, and other Family and friends.

Private graveside service will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.
