Mrs. McDowell was born December 9, 1937 in Lewisville,Arkansas. She was a retired beautician.
Survivors include her husband Charles McDowell of Texarkana,Texas , her son, Billy Griffin of Texarkana,Texas, a grandson, Taylor Elliot Griffin of Texarkana,Texas and a granddaughter, Kimberly Ades of Cucamonga,California and several cousins, Tommy McCoy, Larry Tatum and Liz and Bonnie Sue.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday June 27th at East Funeral Home-Downtown.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday June 28th, 2014 at Sardis Cemetery in Stamps,Arkansas.
Arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Hom-Downtown.
