Melita was born December 17, 1950 in St. Michael's Hospital in Texarkana, Arkansas. Survivors include her husband, James McGuire; her twin sister, Juanita, and husband Richard Ross; three sons and granddaughters-in-law, Tobin and Brandy Sharp, Robert and Kristen Sharp and Samuel Westley Megason; grandchildren, Chael, John, Lawson, and Renley Sharp, and Aubree Megason; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a future date.
