Peggy Loritta Haynes

Peggy Loritta Haynes, 79, of Texarkana, AR passed away April 12, 2023 at her home. Peggy was born November 23, 1943 in Hanford, CA. She loved being a wife and mother and spending time with her large family. She loved gardening and working at her home. Peggy was very artistic, a cake decorator and painter. She was a friend to all and had an amazing love of birds and animals. She was a former member of the Red Hat Society.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, David Haynes; children, daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Sam Butler, son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Ronda Haynes, daughter, DeDe Bryant, daughters and sons-in-law, Willa and Kirk Wheeler and Krista and Mark Nicholson; brother, Daryl Hensley; sisters and brother-in-law, Anne Kelly and June and Steve Sheneman; 18 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and her furbaby, Marie.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m, Saturday, April 15, 2023 at East Memorial Chapel - Downtown with Rev. Doug Larey officiating. Reception to follow.
