Rick Cottle

Rick was born May 29th, 1966 in Texarkana, Arkansas. He was a special education teacher of 35 years in Arkansas and Texas schools across the area and was also a faithful member of Corner Pointe Assembly of God Church where he served as a deacon and was involved in their ministry for the last four years. Rick also served in many other capacities in ministry over the years.

He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Cottle, grandmother; Vinnie Bayless, grandfather; Wiley Bayless, father-in-law; Keith Norman, aunt and uncle by marriage; Jimmy and Joyce Norman and aunts and uncles Betty Lamon, Elvie Cables, Jimmy Bayless, Calvin Bayless, Billy Bayless and Tommy Bayless.

Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years Stephanie Cottle and their children Ashtyn, Kayla, Michael and Hannah Cottle.

Also left to cherish his memory are his mother-in-law; Patsy Norman, brother-in-law and sister-in-law; John and Michelle Brady, niece; K'Mya Branch, uncle; Lonnie Bayless, nephews; Anthony and Timothy Brady, and uncles by marriage; Rodney Norman and Johnny Norman, Harold and Joe Upchurch. He is also survived by his very best friend Kelly Ramsey and many other wonderful friends that are too many to name.

Memorial services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, September 17th, 2025 at Corner Pointe Assembly of God Church located at 4416 Jefferson Avenue, Texarkana, Arkansas with Rev. Sam Martinez and Rev. Hal Haltom officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Corner Pointe Assembly of God Church Building Fund.
