Roy Phillips

Roy Phillips, 78, of Texarkana, TX passed May 15, 2013 in a local hospital. Mr. Phillips was born July 21, 1934 in Ponca City, OK. He was a member of Westlawn Missionary Baptist Church and a retired painting contractor.

He was preceded in death by his son, David Phillips.

Survivors include his wife, Bea Phillips of Texarkana, TX; sons and daughters-in-law, Roy Phillips, Jr. and his wife, Tracy of Maryville, IL and Paul and Sherry Phillips of Hooks, TX; grandchildren, Lori and Shane Powell of Texarkana, Jeremy McKinney of Texarkana, Deja Presson of Texarkana, Shawn, Jon, Sherry, Issac all of Texarkana and Sam Phillips of Maryville,Illinois.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Westlawn Missionary Baptist Church, 600 Westlawn Drive, Texarkana, TX.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Westlawn Missionary Baptist Church.
