He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruel Artie Brown, Sr. and Chloe Ann Halter; and two brothers, George Miller and David Brown; and sister, Connie Martindale.
Survivors include his daughter, Hollie McElwee of Texarkana, TX; son, Dalton Brown; sister, Melinda Johnson of Fouke, AR; four grandchildren, Paxton McElwee, Hudson McElwee, Emersyn McElwee and Zaylin Green; special aunt, Marie Halter Speich; special friend, Penny Cannon; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 6pm to 9pm on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at East Funeral Home-Downtown.
