Wayne Schaeffer, 66, of Texarkana, AR passed away January 21, 2018 at his home. Mr. Schaeffer was born September 26, 1951 in Ft. Hood, TX. He was a member of First Baptist Church - Moores Lane; and a Master Plumber employed with Ted Thammert.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda Schaeffer of Texarkana, AR; sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Alison Schaeffer of Arab, AL and Nathan Schaeffer of Texarkana, AR; brothers, Steve Schaeffer, Ricky Schaeffer and Keith Schaeffer; 5 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1 p. m. Friday, January 26, 2018 at East Memorial Chapel - Downtown with Rev. John Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Sylvernio Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the funeral home.
