Wilburn Crane Youngblood

He was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Richard Youngblood and Larry Glen Youngblood, two brothers, Louie Youngblood and Vernon Youngblood and two sisters, Louise Haley and Elizabeth Woolard.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 78 years, Hazel Youngblood and son Wayne (Doris) Youngblood, two daughters, Shelba Jean Purifoy-Fricks and Linda Kay ( Mike) McAdams, his brother E. L. Youngblood, Jr. and sister-in-law, Marjorie Youngblood,and two daughters-in-law Barbara Jo Youngblood and Brenda Youngblood.

Survivors also include 13 grandchildren, Terry (Kim) Youngblood, Tracie ( Dale) Vaughn, Scott (Dena) Youngblood, Mark Youngblood, Shane (April) Youngblood, Matt ( Melissa) Youngblood, Peggy Flink, Pam (Ron) Goldman, Chris Purifoy, Elizabeth (Bryan) Alexander, Scott (Andrea) McAdams, Kevin McAdams and Susan McAdams. 23 great grandchildren, Jon (Jessica) David (Lori) Ben, Elizabeth, Taylor, Michael, Aubrey, Colton, Elijah, Katie Beth, Bryce and Katelyn Youngblood, Brad (Heather) Nick ( Kinzie) Vaughn, Andrew and Matthew Knight, Katie and Haley Kososki Luke and Cole Alexander, and Kaylee, Chris and Matt McAdams, great great grandchildren, Ozzie Phillips, Ezra and Zeeland Youngblood, Lexie Pritchett, Madison, Rylie, Alexa, Braylee and expected baby girl Landry Vaughn. He is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews and two very special devoted caregivers, Janice Jackson and Peggy Hickman.

Mr. Youngblood was retired from Union Pacific Railroad after 41 years of service as an engineer. He was a member of Beech Street First Baptist Church and Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed many years playing golf after his retirement.

Services will be 2 p.m., Saturday at East Funeral Home, Moores Lane with Dr. Robert McCarver officiating, with visitation following services.

Family will be at the home of Shelba Jean Fricks.
