She was born in Seattle, Washington on February 15, 1922. Agnes Stauffer graduated from Seattle Pacific College and received a Bachelor of Arts in Education.
She was married to William O. Stauffer on August 27, 1950.
Agnes worked as an elementary school teacher for the Seattle School District before becoming a homemaker. She was an active community volunteer in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 40 years and had a passion for square dancing, gardening, and needle point.
She was survived by son, John Stauffer and wife Janet, San Antonio, TX; daughter, Mary Chruszczak and husband Michael, The Woodlands, TX; grandchildren, Stephen Chruszczak and wife Ashley, The Woodlands, TX, Ann LaTour and husband Chad, The Woodlands, TX, Kelsey Barks and husband David, Spokane, WA, and Erik Stauffer, Albuquerque, NM; great grandchildren, Owen, Campbell, Tenley, Oliver, and Jacob.
