Allen Anthony Miller

Born in Huntingburg, IN on May 14, 1946, Allen was the son of Robert Miller and Zona Winkler Price. Allen graduated from Arvada High School, served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston in 1974. He was married to Charlotte Narmore Miller on October 21, 1968 and together they had three daughters Karen, Kathleen and Kelly. Allen had a career in software engineering for HISD, Dresser Atlas, Western Atlas, Western Company, BJ Services and Baker Hughes. Allen was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was the rock of his family.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Knight, his parents and 3 sisters; Karen, Roberta, and Rhonda.

Allen leaves behind his wife, Charlotte Narmore Miller; daughter Kathleen Miller and husband Matthew Goshen; daughter Kelly Bolton and husband Greg; grandchildren Christine Roberts, Deja Bolton, Cole Roberts, Jefferson Bolton and Michael Knight. Also surviving are 8 siblings Brenda, Button, Sherry, Shirley, Carol, Doris, Becky, Mary, and Michael.

Memorial service will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, Jan. 4, 2016 at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home in The Woodlands, TX.
