My condolences to the family of this great doctor and gentleman.   He saved the life of my wife with his skill and enhanced her recovery with his caring follow up in the ICU and in the 2 months she was in JCL hospital.   I will never forget our conversations and his support.   I am sure that God has blessed him and all those he held in his heart.

I had the privilege of working with Carlos in Boise for a short time and was looking forward to him joining our group permanently.  He was energy and light.  His smile never disappeared, and a long night of call and operating only amplified it.  He was passionate about everything--his wife, family, trauma and patient care.  He will be missed by so many. I had the honor of meeting Dr. Justiniano when he worked with the trauma surgeons in Boise. On the couple of occasions I had to accompany him around the hospital for interviews, I was very touched by his kindness to me and the chivalry he showed as well. I am praying for His peace and comfort for you. I am so sorry for your loss.

Carlos was an incredible resident during his time in El Paso.  He was a great role model for the junior residents & medical students. His wonderful sense of humor & his great bedside manner are what I remember best about Carlos.  He will be greatly missed & not forgotten.

Carlos had a light and charisma that endeared him to everyone he met, heaven has a bright smiley angel. My deepest condolences to his family.

I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences on the bereavement caused by the untimely passing of Your husband to you Veronika and to his family. It's very clear that his life was measured by the ripples that he spread in everyone who met him, everyone he helped and the people he touched. A perfect example of man with a pure heart who lived and loved with divine intention. A great loss to society.

I worked with Dr. Justiniano during his residency at Baylor, he was always so pleasant and always had that amazing smile on his face. He will be missed. Lifting his wife and family in prayers. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I did not know your son, but saw him in his final moment of life.I was the first person to drive through the aftetmath of the wreckage. God bless your son. Our son was killed in a tragic motorcycle accident 6 years ago. He was 24 years old. He was laid to rest at Forest Park The Woodlands. Nothing prepares us for such a tragic loss. Knowing our Heavenly Father was there with our loved one is the only way to possibly find comfort. I first met Carlos in the operating room in Boise, Idaho. The thing that I will always remember is how happy he was taking care of trauma patients; and he was very good at it! He saved so many lives, all with a smile on his face and goodness in his heart. God called him home early, and he will be sorely missed by all. My prayers and condolences go out to his family & friends.

As a former Ben Taub trauma nurse, I've met many doctors in my career.  Carlos was one of the ones who left a lasting impression on me.  He had an infectious smile that brought joy to a stressful work environment.  I always admired the kindness and compassion he showed to his patients and he always treated everybody with dignity.  He was one of the great ones and will truly be missed. My prayers are with his family.
