Carol was born October 9, 1953 in Sayville, Long Island to her parents, Fred and Bernice Seesing. She remained in Sayville with her brothers and sisters until moving to Texas, where she lived and raised her 3 daughters for more than 40 years.
As a high school student she took advanced courses and earned her nursing licence as an LPN before graduating in 1971. She went on to gain her LVN and RN nursing licenses while being a wife and mother. Nursing and caring for others was in her soul and would remain her passion her entire life. She spent many years caring for her patients as a cardiac nurse. Later, Carol moved to Quality control where she supported her colleagues in every way possible. Including creating training manuals and presenting staff development opportunities. Despite retiring officially from nursing and having her own health concerns she remained a nurse at heart and continued to care for neighbors and friends at her assisted living home whenever possible.
Above all Carol loved her girls and her family. She was an avid reader of all things Stephen King, loved poetry, and loved to shop. When given the opportunity she would spend hours walking through stores picking out items for her kids and grandkids. As most of you know, if there was any kind of chocolate within a 5 mile radius she knew about it and it was the one thing she swore she would never give up. She also loved music of all kinds. Her home or car was always filled with the sounds of Elvis, the Beatles, or Willie Nelson.
She is survived by her daughters Stacy Weeks and husband Michael, Melissa Taylor and husband Chad, Amanda Brogan and husband Matt. She leaves behind her greatest joys, her grandchildren: Syniya, Taylor, Conner, Melanie, Mitchell and Marshall. As well as her 4 siblings; Paul and wife Laurel Seesing, Kathy Arabie, Betty and husband David Bucklew, Larry and wife Kim Seesing, and many other family members.
She is preceded in death by her father Fred, mother Bernice and brother-in-law Allen Arabie.
A small service for the family is scheduled for April 10th, 2021 at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home and Cemetery.
