Carolyn Sue Dickerson

Suzie graduated from high school in Amite, LA, where she met and later married her high school sweetheart Rick Dickerson on November 24, 1971. She was a very loving and devoted wife to Rick for 42 years. Suzie had a warm heart willing to share and give of herself to her husband, children, and friends.

She loved with her whole heart! She loved Jesus Christ and was a member of The Woodlands First Baptist Church. A devoted church member she was active in her Sunday school class, bible studies, helpingwith missions including the Mexico Ministry.

As a mother, wife, and friend she was always more concerned about others than what she was going through. She was very involved in her children and grandchildren's lives. Suzie was very close to her loving siblings, which included five sisters and one brother, and always enjoyed time spent with them. She always had a smile on her face even when she got sick. When asked how she could smile all the time even when she was so sick, she shrugged her shoulders and said, "I don't know I guess Jesus just put it there". Suzie is survived by her husband Rick Dickerson, her daughters Rebecca and Blaise Gregory; Melissa and Matt Braley; her son Brandon Dickerson; Grandchildren Addison Gregory, Ashlyn Gregory, Kayla King and Hayden King. She was preceded in death by her parents Norris and Melrose (Cook) Daniel.

A visitation for Suzie will be at First Baptist Church of The Woodlands 11801 Grogans Mill Rd, The Woodlands, TX 77380 on Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 PM.
