Catharine graduated from Murphy High School and married Oliver Ray Whittington Jr. on May 5, 1947.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mathias Church Choir and Lectar. Her passions included gardening and flower arranging.
Catharine is survived by children; Oliver Ray Whittington III (Michelle), Catharine MacDonald (Samuel), Linda Tyler (Russell) and Laura Spencer (Timothy), grandchildren; Devon Whittington, Derrick Whittington, Samuel MacDonald, Reagan MacDonald, Phillip Brown, Mark Brown, Keith Brown, Lauren Warren, Rachel Merrill, Katie Boling, Sara Manley, Lisa Wiley, Lana Hoeckendorf, Lynn Brown, Jessica Knickerbocker, John Turner and William Spencer, sisters; Sadie Guy and Emily Carmony.
Funeral arrangements will be held October 16, 2022 at 10:00am at Forest Park The Woodlands.
