

Christine Elaine Wheatcroft Brandon was born on March 15, 1923 in Utica, Kansas to James Wheatcroft and Vera Barr Wheatcroft. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Merlin Wheatcroft and Vincent Wheatcroft, an infant son, Dennis Allen Brandon, and her husband, Cecil E. Brandon.
She is survived by her brother Lyle Wheatcroft of Hot Springs Village, AR, her children, Kendall Brandon of Midland, TX, Janice Brandon Henderson and her husband, Don Henderson of Austin, TX, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
After she graduated from high school, she moved to Hutchinson, KS to work. There she met her future husband. Once they were married, they moved to Norman, OK, Tulsa, OK, Midland, TX, Thermopolis, WY, Sterling, CO, then to Midland, TX where she lived for 12 years before moving to Lafayette, LA. They moved to New Orleans, LA before moving to London, England. She and her husband traveled all over the world, living in Luanda, Angola, before returning to the U.S. They settled in the Houston area before moving to The Woodlands around 1976. She and her husband also continued to go RV-ing around the U.S. and Canada.
Although she traveled extensively, she loved being with her family and Church home. She had tremendous faith and loved her Church home. She especially loved playing dominoes with her special friends.
She liked practical jokes, had a dry wit, and liked to kid/tease. She also loved to bake, and was known for her lemon pies.
