Denise Dana Sholtess Venable, 58, of Midway, Texas, passed away on September 6, 2013. She was born June 27, 1955 in Hutchinson, Kansas. She is predeceased by her husband, Oberey Matthew Venable, father Calvin Sholtess, and brother Calvin D. Sholtess. She is survived by her mother, Frances Sholtess, Sisters, Janet Lee Baber, Debra Ann Hanson (Roy), and Diana Lynn Friend, and numerous aunts and uncles. The family will be receiving friends at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home on Monday, September 9, 2013 between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm. A service will be held at Forest Park The Woodlands Chapel in honor of her memory on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 10:30 am. Interment will immediately follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
