Don was a humble, unpretentious man who never thought of himself as being greater than anyone else. He was a people person with a contagious personality who was loved and respected by everyone he met.
Don truly enjoyed his work at both Cook Compression and Hoerbiger Corporation. But his greatest passion was golf. He spent countless hours on golf courses, playing at Cabo every year, and playing at some of the top-ranked courses in the world like Pebble Beach. Vacations and holidays with family were never spent far from a golf course.
Don met the love of his life, Jo, while in college in Louisville, and he knew he'd landed his hole in one. They married and spent almost four decades together as best friends as well as husband and wife.
Don is survived by his beloved wife, Jo York; his son Jason Michael Snawder; and his grandson Easten Michael Snawder.
A Celebration of Life for Don will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at from 2 pm - 5 pm at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home located in The Woodlands, Texas. The family invites you join them to share refreshments as well as stories and memories of Don.
