

She was born in Iota, Louisiana on January 15,1934 to Lawrence and Beatrice (Daigle) Green.
Dot was a very loving and faith filled wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She, along with her late husband Elridge, were Eucharistic Ministers and homebound Ministers for many years bringing Holy Communion to the elderly and the ill who were confined to their homes, oftentimes just to visit. She had such a soft spot in her heart for the elderly.
She also was a member of The Ladies Altar Society of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Jennings, LA.
She was a beautiful, gracious, kind, and generous person with an amazingly positive outlook on life, and smile that lit up the room.
Dot and Elridge raised their children and spent their pre-retirement years in Jennings, LA. They moved to The Woodlands, TX in 2008 to be near their children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 72 years, Elridge Broussard.
She is survived by sister Loretta Vaughan of Placentia, CA, brother Terry (Jan) Green of Clear Lake, TX, daughter Bonnie (Chet) Selby of Many, LA, and son Scott (Maryanne) of Montgomery, TX. Grandchildren Kelly (Cory) O’Quinn, Erin (Jeremy) Franklin, Jordan (Ryan)Broussard, Melanie (Mark) McKinney, Jennifer (Jeremy) Zadow, and Lana Broussard. Great grandchildren Zachary, Julia, Sam, Gus, Cydney, Tyler, Lucy Eleanor, Luke, Henry, Miles, Boone, Ryder, Landon, and Cameron.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at the Our Lady of the Angels Chapel at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in The Woodlands, TX. The praying of the rosary will precede the Mass at 12:30 p.m.
Interment will take place at Houston National Cemetery at 11:00 am Wednesday, May 3, 2023.
