We, her neighbors, all called her Dottie.  She was the dynamo of the entire area.  She could out-mow, and out-rake any of us!  She loved her "Little Bit" dog as well as all of our pets.  She was an adventuresome lady who was never afraid to get in her car and travel where she needed to go. She always told us that she would be fine because she "had her dog, her phone and her gun" while she drove all over the gulf coast as well as all the way up to Missouri to visit loved ones and friends.  
She was also very adept at crafts.  For my sons' country wedding, she used her skills to dress two plastic chickens, one was a rooster (in a tux) and the other was dressed as a beautiful bride, both of which sat on the make-shift altar during Damon and Val's ceremony.  We still treasure those chickens.
Dottie, we will all miss your beautiful outlook and your sweet caring attitude.  Another Dottie - Taylor.
