Eddie R. Brooks, 88, of Spring, Texas, passed away May 19, 2010 in Conroe, Texas. He was born July 18, 1921 in Centreville, Mississippi to the late Eddie R. Brooks, Sr. and Pauline James Brooks. He is preceded in death by his wife Josephine Brooks. Eddie is survived by his sisters Dorothy Clark and Maisie Stanley.
Eddie served as a Marine during World War II.
Visitation will be held from 7:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Friday, May 21, 2010 at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. Graveside Services are set for Saturday in Pittman Cemetery, Muldoon, TX.
