Of Palestinian descent, he was born in Ramallah on March 5, 1933. His birth wasn’t recorded in Jordan until March 9, 1933. He enjoyed celebrating 2 birthdays!
His schooling was traveling the world since age 17. Along the way, he learned to speak 3 languages fluently. In his pastime he watched NASCAR, Soccer, American Ninja Warrior, and Joanna Gaines on Fixer Upper. He enjoyed listening to music, and dabbled with playing the piano and accordion. He was a foodie at heart and especially loved pizza!
He was preceded in death by his wife Leila Ganim.
He is survived by their: children Charlie, Salwa (Mike), Diana, Salem (Lisa), and Carmen; grandchildren Christopher George (Jonathan), Victor (Katy), Christopher Michael, Olivia, and Natalia; great-grandsons Kynaston and Elias.
A visitation for George will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at St. Anthony the Great Orthodox Church, 7202 F.M. 2920, Spring, TX 77379. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 7202 F.M. 2920, Spring, TX 77379. A committal ceremony will occur Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Forest Park - The Woodlands Cemetery, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384.
