She graduated from Commercial School in Germany, at the top of her class with a degree in Administrative Management. Inge moved to Frankfurt and accepted a position as an Executive Secretary where she enjoyed her work at Adlerwerke, an engineering and manufacturing firm. Inge met and married Joe Gaston, a member of the Armed Forces, in Germany and they spent nearly 60 wonderful years together. Inge devoted her time to raising two daughters.
Inge loved traveling, art history and planned many family vacations throughout Europe. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, and especially treasured creating art projects with her daughters at the holidays. Her friends and family will always remember her as a caring, intelligent, and nurturing person.
She is preceded in death by her mother, father and brother, all from Germany.
Inge is survived by her husband Joe Gaston, daughter Sandra Gaston, daughter Tonia Stenftenagel, son-in-law Mike Stenftenagel and grandson Jordan Stenftenagel.
A private memorial service will be held at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home on Thursday, January 14, 2021.
