Karen was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife and friend. She had a passion for Bingo, coloring, crosswords puzzles, watching soap operas and forensic files. Karen loved animals, her beloved dog Tiny Weenie came with her when she moved from California to Texas back in 2005. In Karen's earlier days she found a love for long haul truck driving, it is where her Bingo obsession started and dabbled in sewing. Karen was known for always making holidays special for her children and her grandchildren with her love for Christmas being her favorite. When her grandchildren were young, she sewed their Halloween costumes and knitted scarves. Karen was known for taking her grandchildren to school, work and friends’ houses throughout their teenage years. She then was a large part of her great grandsons Ayden and Coltyn's early days. Karen volunteered and worked for the National Museum of Funeral History for 15 years before her health forced her into retirement. Karen was known to do anything possible to get a Pall Mall cigarette and always needed her sweets, from various Debbie snacks, cotton candy, Twizzlers to her favorite candy of all Necos. Karen loved her sweet tea extra extra sweet. She was lovingly cared for by her family, primarily her daughter for many many years. Her presence will be missed by all.
