Maria Romo Collins, born January 25, 1977, of Conroe, TX passed away January 3, 2020. She was a 1995 graduate of Milby High School in Houston, TX. She also attended the University of Houston and University of Phoenix acquiring her MBA in Business Managment in 2006. She was a Juvenile Probation Officer for Harris County Juvenile Probation in Houston, TX. She was a vibrant soul. When she entered any room her smile could light it up. Her sassy wit was full of entertaining sarcastic humor and intelligence. She loved to travel and had many hobbies from photography, camping, hiking, fishing, singing, and dancing. She partipated in the Children Ministries at Lakewood Church in Houston, TX. She was a member of the Ark in Conroe, TX.
Maria is survied by her husband Paul Collins and children Chase Collins and Alexis Collins of Conroe, TX. Parents Tony Romo and Julia Garcia Romo of New Caney, Texas. Sister, Rita Romo Ayala and husband Gilbert Ayala of New Caney, TX. Sister, Christina Romo of Houston, TX. Niece, Celisia Quiroga Cruz and Husband Arthur Cruz. Niece,Clarissa Celeste Quiroga of Houston, TX. Nephew, Gilbert Ayala III of New Caney, TX. Niece, Maya Bonilla of Humble, TX. Great Neice, Adelina Cruz of Houston, TX.
Maria is Preceded in death by her nephew, Corey Alexander Quiroga.
Her funeral service will be held at Forest Park the Woodlands, 18000 I-45S, The Woodlands, TX on Friday, January 10 at 2PM with visitation beginning at 1PM.
