Although I knew your name as Marie, was employed by your son-in-law Gary and daughter Julita, I simply called you Granny.  The conversations we had about your travel experiences and the joys of your life with Paw-Paw and your children and grandchildren made us all want to model your life.  You were tough as nails, but the sweetest and coolest Granny anyone ever could know.  Your smile and laughter lit up a room and you will be greatly missed by all.  I share the pain of your loss with everyone who knew you.  Condolences to your entire family from ours.  Terrell and Tomasa Simien.

Mother - you are back to "road trips" with Dad again, where we all knew you wanted to be.  Your "Grannyisms" will live on in each and every one of us: children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  We join together and make families to bear witness to each other's lives, to listen and share and remember.
