Marjorie Elaine Phifer, 74, of Spring, Texas passed away August 9, 2011. She was born December 28, 1936 in Houston, Texas to the late Robert Platt and Maria Winona Weatherly. Elaine is also preceded in death by her daughter Peggy Sue Dixon. She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Joseph Rutledge Phifer DDS; sons Skipper Phifer, Lyndon Phifer and Joey Phifer; grandchildren Tanner Skipper Phifer, Tammy Sue Ebinger and husband Roy, Dustin Robert Phifer and Timothy Olin Dixon; great grandsons Leon Thomas Ebinger and Dallas Witten Phifer; sister Betty Frasier; brothers Robert “Bubba” Weatherly and wife Evelyn, Dr. Kenneth Weatherly and wife Suzanne.
A celebration of Elaine’s life is set for 11:00 A.M., Friday, August 12, 2011 in the Chapel at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home.
