Bill and I are so sad to hear about Mike.  What terrific times we had together in Indiana.  He was a wonderful man.

Dad, we all love and miss you very much.  You weren't supposed to leave us yet, but I'm sure you did the best you could, without a single complaint...as you have since the day you came into our lives...and for that I will always be sincerely grateful.  

Mitch and I have had several conversations since you passed and a common phrase or theme we find ourselves repeating is, "what would Dad do in this situation?". 

You've truly left us a legacy of examples of what to do...You didn't necessarily always tell us, but you certainly always showed us by example...by just being yourself.  You stood alone among men as a true man, with character, perspective and humor.  

Our last moments we shared together, I'll remember and cherish for the rest of my life.  You were trying so hard to help me with the mailbox and showing obvious signs of fatigue and discomfort.  I had an overwhelming urge to touch or hug you so I gently put my had on your shoulder and told you "I got this dad"...at that moment you felt more like my son than my father, in a very loving way. 

Thank you for being the best dad anyone could ever hope for.  Thanks you for loving and providing for us unconditionlly.

Dear Jocelyn, I was so surprised to learn of Michael's passing. What a wonderful life the two of you shared. Love is forever. Keep the faith. You & your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Words cannot begin to express the deep, deep sadness with in me with my dear friends passing...........it is always tremendous shock to hear events like this, I can't stop thinking about what a huge part of our lives he and you are, and will continue to be.

All we can do now is to pray and be happy that he is in God's loving arms welcoming him to live with Him, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

When I think of Michael I see him in his own prickly little way, a cactus.

In the southwest there plants called Cactus, remarkable in many ways different shapes and sizes all very stunnig in there own stature like Michael, but all you usually get to do is to look at it and admire for what it is, a sentinel standing ready to surprise or prick you if you get it's other side!

THEN THE MOST REMARABLE THING HAPPENS, LIKE IN THE SPRING!
THE MOST MAGNIFICENT BLOOMS EMERGE AND SHOW THEIR BEAUTY AND SPLENDER THAT CAPTIVATE EVERYONE, AND THEN YOU KNOW THAT THE PRICKLY OUTSIDE IS ONLY TO PROTECT THE TENDER BEAUTY INSIDE THAT WHEN YOUR LET IN YOU CHERISH THE PLANT FOREVER AND NURTURE IT'S FRIENDSHIP BEAUTY.

LOVE YOU BOTH FOREVER, YOU ARE IN MY THOUGHTS,PRAYERS AND VISION DAILY AND FOREVER. GOD GRANT YOU PEACE JOCELYN AND THE STRENGTH TO CARRY ON WITH HIM BY YOUR SIDE AS ALWAYS.

Jocelyn,  Our deepest sympathy on Michaels passing.  All of his buddies from Lee send their sympathy as well.  We have all been talking long distance of the many good times we had together over the years.  Peace be with you.

Mrs. Fedak and Family: I remember Mike from our adventures at Boy Scout Camp Ben Johnson through our years at Marshall High School, Class of '58.  My prayers are with you.
