I did not know Nancy personally, but I wanted to share my sincere condolences. Also to share a very encouraging word, found at Relevation 21:4 which says "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." This is a beautiful promise of soon we will not see death or pain and I hope this helps you all during this difficult time.
