Norma June Godfrey

She was born in Abilene, TX on June 5, 1936 to Milton and Evelyn Osborn.

Norma attended Baylor University and later went on to marry the love of her life John Godfrey.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Conroe,TX where she spent a lot of time volunteering. Norma was a member of the Conroe Art League and during the 1980's she was a member of the Conroe ISD school board. Her greatest passion was Christ, followed by her friends and family.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband John Godfrey; her son Milton Guy Godfrey and her daughter Jonna Godfrey.

Norma is survived by her daughter Kim Childers (Danny); her son John "Tres" Godfrey III; her grandchildren; Angela Godfrey, Desiree Pill (Michael), Dustin Childers (Landon), Konner Childers (Kayla), Amelie Godfrey, Oliver Pill, Forrest Childers and Murphey Childers along with a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation for Norma will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church (Atrium), 600 N. Main St., Conroe, TX 77301. Following the visitation there will be a memorial service at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church, 600 N. Main St., Conroe, TX 77301.
