She was born in Houston, Texas, on November 8, 1933, and graduated from Milby High School in 1951. Patsy was married to John Claude Reese, Jr., on August 14, 1965. She had a career in law enforcement, working for the Houston Police Department as a dispatch supervisor. Patsy had a passion for oil painting and gardening but, most of all, for her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Reese; stepdaughter, Frances Reese Newcomb, and stepson, Claude Lee Reese; six step-grandchildren and twelve step-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, James Frank West; nephew, Michael Miller, and niece, Janice Miller-Keith.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 5, 2016, at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 I-45 S, The Woodlands, Texas 77384.
