Just learned my moms best friend since elementary school passed away in January. Our mom  was Mary Lib Rochat Beck and passed away 5/19, she was in heaven waiting for a hug with sweet Patsy.  They were such great friends until my moms end and after due to changes in our country we did not see Patsy again. Mom and Patsy would talk and never forget one’s birthday. I lost touch with her kids over the years but we hung out during our teenage years, great memories.  Our families love for Patsy, especially our moms love will live on forever. Healing prayers to all the family!❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

We enjoyed knowing the Tarvins when we lived in the Netherlands from 1981-82. I remember happily riding  my Dutch bicycle to a coffee klatch at Patsy’s house one morning. We stopped to see her and John in Tennessee during a driving vacation shortly after he retired. Sincere condolences on her passing.

Teacher in Dhahran! Wow!! What a small world. We will be having my moms funeral tomorrow at Forest Park ….. ( Marion Gadai) 

I recall meeting Mrs Tarvin many times during the family stay in Dhahran.  She was very nice lady and known for her valuable involvements in various self-directed groups.  I was very close to John, her husband in early days of my service with Aramco when I was working in Personnel. I wish to extend my deep sympathy to Mrs Tarvin’s family.  We always appreciate the contributions made by many Americans who helped us build our nation especially  those Americans like theTarvins and many other nationalities who came to Saudi Arabia in early days to work  and enjoyed their stay in Saudi Arabia. 

What a precious, sweet lady. Patsy and John were our neighbors when John went to be with the Lord.  Enjoyed seeing her at Bible study. Will miss her. Our loss, Heaven’s gain. God bless her family.🙏

Patsy was a very positive and happy person who was a joy to be around. He sweet smile and bright eyes reflected her inner peace and contentment. I was privileged to be her friend in Sunday School and Craft Circle, and enjoyed her company at lunch after church.  She was loved and will be missed.

I met Patsy at Craft Circle ~ 4 yrs ago  in The Woodlands, Tx.  Although I only knew Patsy for a short time - I just loved her bubbly sweet spirit - she was special!  

She loved, laughed, and lived well!  She will be greatly missed.
