She was born in New Burnside, Illinois, on January 21, 1942, and was married to William McNees on September 11, 2000.
Rebecca had a career in the restaurant and hospitality industry. She loved books and spent a lot of time reading. She was also passionate about gardening and cooking.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her husband, William McNees; mother, Lorraine Parsons Dawes; father, Hal Bradley Dawes; and nephew, James Bradley Dawes.
She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Lunda) Pritchett, Todd (Michelle) Pritchett; daughter, Kelly (Brett) Gissler; grandchildren, Scott, Tyler, and Lindsey Pritchett, and Max Gissler; brother, Jim (Janet) Dawes; sister, Gloria Harper; and special niece, Deborah Harper Schroeder.
A gathering of friends and family will take place at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home on Sunday, November 11, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with a period of remarks and reflections starting at 2:30 p.m.
