Ricardo "Eric" Pasaoa, was born in Calasiao, Pangasinan, Philippines, on May 27, 1957, to his mother, Gliceria Pasaoa, and father, Teodorico Pasaoa.
Although Eric left us too early, he lived his life to the fullest, loved his family so much, left his greatest legacy, and will forever be in our hearts. Eric was known to spread laughter and love to everyone he cared for. He was a friendly, goofy, and outgoing spirit, who was never afraid to welcome or talk to anyone he encountered. Eric had a passion for sharing his talent of music with everyone he met, whether it be with family, friends, or even strangers. Eric could always be found playing the piano, the acoustic or bass guitar, or singing along to beautiful songs that he enjoyed. He loved bringing everyone together with his music, which would light up every room and carry everyone through each melody. Eric also enjoyed documenting all of his family's happiest and momentous occasions. Eric was a very beloved and devoted husband of 32 years, loving and proud father, caring brother, son, and uncle, genuine friend, talented musician, an avid sports fan of basketball, boxing, football, Houston sports- Rockets, Texans, and Astros, an amazing chef and gardener, hard-working and creative handy man, and a dedicated nurse and healthcare provider for many years.
Eric is survived by his wife, Clemencia "Menchu" Cendaña Pasaoa, his daughter, Heather Erika Pasaoa, his son, Keith Lawrence Pasaoa, his granddog Marley, his brothers and sisters, Alfredo Pasaoa, Zenaida Pasaoa-Gabat, Arturo Pasaoa, Joseph Pasaoa, Gregorio Pasaoa, Romulo Pasaoa, Raul Pasaoa, and Charito Pasaoa-Fernandez, his mother-in-law, Purification Cendaña, several cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Eric was preceded in death by his father, Teodorico Pasaoa, his mother, Gliceria Pasaoa, and his father-in-law, Perfecto Cendaña.
