

He was born in Pampa Texas on 01/27/1949. He graduated from Pampa High School and received a Bachelor’s of Science degree from West Texas State University (now West Texas A&M).
He married Mary Barrett (Borcherts) on 04/11/1970. He was an E5 in the Air Force and worked on the radar systems on B-52s during the Vietnam War. He later worked for Texaco, Equilon, and Shell in the oil and gas industry until he retired in 2004. He was active in the scouting program and had a passion for electronics and photography.
He is survived by his Wife (Mary Barrett) and their two children (Stephanie Barrett and Melissa Barrett). He was a loving and caring husband and father who always put his family first and made sure to provide for them.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the USO or the Association of the Miraculous Medal.

A Celebration of Life will occur on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 1:00PM at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home 18000 I-45 South, The Woodlands, Texas 77384. A catered reception will immediately follow from 2:00 to 4:00PM.
