He was born October 11th, 1946 in Clarendon, Texas and is survived by his loving wife Judy Tice Bell, and his daughter, Jenny Bell Middleton of The Woodlands, Texas. He was also a father to Troy Tice and Brandy Tice Long, grandfather to three grandsons and four granddaughters, and his brothers, Shelby Bell (married to Andrea Bell) and Robert Bell (married to Sharon Bell). Richard was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Steven Bell.
Richard served honorably as a Naval Corpsman attached to the Marines where he risked his life for his country and others in Vietnam. He will be fondly remembered for his patriotism and loyalty to his country; which was unparalleled and his continued commitment to the Republican Party. He enjoyed fishing, dancing and spoiling his dog Coco.
The memorial service will be held Monday, August 31, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Christ Church United Methodist, 6363 Research Forest Drive, The Woodlands, Texas 77381.
