He was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on April 28, 1942 to Alfred and Mildred (Cornell) Dailey. He married Angelita Garcia on August 10, 1963.
Robert worked in the auto industry for General Motors at Lordstown, Ohio. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and had a passion for woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Richard Dailey; sister; Phyllis Byers; brother, Albert Dailey; and great-granddaughter, Jazmin Alvarez.
He was survived by his wife of 53 years, Angelita; children, Tina Martinez, Lori Rodriguez and Michael Dailey; sisters, Barbara Love and Vickie Monte; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, a rosary at 5:00 pm and a reception from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home Chapel, 18000 Interstate 45 South, The Woodlands, Texas 77384. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 109 North Frazier St., Conroe, Texas 77301 followed by interment at Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery.
