

It is with sadness in our hearts to announce the passing of Robert Frederick Stevens, Jr., on April 23, 2025, at age 72, in Spring, Texas. We rejoice knowing he has entered into eternal life. He knew Jesus as his Savior and wanted to love people as Jesus did. He was a loving and faithful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Robert was born in Melrose, Massachusetts on May 20, 1952. He graduated from Newark High School and continued his education at The Florida State University in Tallahassee earning his Bachelor of Science degree. Robert enjoyed a long and successful career in accounting, spanning over 40 years.
Robert married the love of his life, Lynne Stevens, on February 20, 1988, and the two recently celebrated 37 years together, a testament to their lifelong devotion. The family grew to a family of 5 with the addition of daughter, Jessica and sons, James and John. Robert treasured time spent with his wife, kids and grandkids. He was a stable and constant presence in their lives. Robert also enjoyed our Houston sports teams, playing and watching golf, and travelling.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Sophia Stevens, and brothers, George and Gary Stevens. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lynne Stevens; daughter, Jessica Abrams and her husband, Zach Abrams; sons, James and John Stevens; sister, Sharon Stevens; brother, David Stevens; grandchildren, Samuel, Anna and Ruth Abrams; nephew, Rob Simmons; and niece, Stephanie Metz. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A visitation for Robert will be held Monday, April 28, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, April 29, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, to be immediately followed by a burial 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM. A reception will take place from 11:45 AM to 1:45 PM.
Robert will be laid to rest in Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery, 18000 Interstate 45S, The Woodlands, TX 77384.
