Rosemary Maxine Wormly

Rosemary was born in Hemphill, Texas. She graduated from Draughon's Practical Business College in Galveston, Texas where she received certificates in various business skills.

She was married to Napolean Wormly, Jr. on January 25, 1958.

Rosemary had a career in sales, primarily interior and exterior designs and furnishings. She concluded her career at Sears as an assistant manager. Throughout her life, she also worked in finance for the Department of Army Funds Branch of Central Finance and Accounting in Europe.

She was a member of St. Tabitha Chapter #75 Order of Eastern Stars, Heroines of Jericho Pride of the East Court #20, Order of Cyrene, and the League of Women Voters. She had a passion for golf and supporting her organizations through community work. Rosemary especially cherished her time spent with family, grandchildren, and friends.

She was survived by daughters; Michaelle Wormly and Sheryl J. Robinson. Son-in-law; David Robinson Jr. Grandchildren; David Robinson III, Isaiah Michael Robinson, and Maya Indigo Waite. Cousins; Lettie Mae Milligan, Will Simmons, Jr., and Gerald Simmons. Nieces; Cecielia Smith-Callis, Brenda Rodriguez, and many cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Napolean Wormly Jr. daughter; Patricia A. Wormly Waite. Parents; William Coleman and Jessie May Holmes. Sister; Florence Jones, and brother; Eugene Coleman.

A catered visitation will be held on February 24, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am in the R.L. Wood room at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, located at 18000 Interstate 45 South, The Woodlands, TX 77384.

A celebration of life will follow on the same day from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm in the Grand Hall at the same venue.

A graveside service is scheduled for February 24, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm at the Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038.
