Sarah Ysabel Matta, 23 yrs.old of Spring, Texas, left us too soon on February 24, 2026. She was born in Edinburg, Texas. She had a love for painting, playing piano, crocheting and loves to listen to Latin music. She was a loving daughter, selfless, humble and kind. She brought joy to all who knew her.
Sarah went to Oak Ridge HS and was a member of the Orchestra, playing violin. She went to UT Health in college and obtained her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree. Her first job was in the Stroke Unit but she loved babies and kids, so when she was accepted in NICU at Texas Children's Hospital , she found her passion.
She has a 7 month old Corgi, Beni, who gave her comfort and emotional support aside from her family. Sarah is survived by her parents, Mary and Randy, her brother, Ryan and her grandmother , Lolita.
Visitation will be held in the Grand Hall at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 4 to 6 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sts. Simon And Jude Catholic Parish, 26777 Glen Loch Dr, The Woodlands, TX 77381, at 10 AM, Monday March 9, 2026.
A Committal Service will follow at Forest Park -The Woodlands Cemetery.
