Born on January 4, 1973, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Stephanie lived a life defined by compassion, generosity, and an unwavering love for animals. She had a remarkable heart for homeless and vulnerable animals, dedicating countless hours to rescuing, fostering, and advocating for their care.
Stephanie’s kindness touched everyone who knew her. She was steady, loyal, and deeply loving—someone who showed up without being asked and gave without hesitation.
She is survived by her parents; her sister; her sister-in-law; her niece and nephew; her aunts and uncles; her cousins; her beloved rescue cats; and her devoted dog, Lola. Each of them held a special place in her heart and brought tremendous joy to her life.
Stephanie will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and the many lives—both human and animal—that she brightened during her time here.
In honor of her lifelong devotion to animals, the family invites those wishing to pay tribute to donate pet supplies, which will be distributed to local animal shelters in her memory.
