

Patricia Condon Heup of Montgomery, TX passed away on August 17, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and resilience. Born on January 31, 1948 in New Orleans, LA, Trisha was a proud alumna of the University of Alabama, where she earned a degree in English, and she later received her Master’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri.
Trisha's career in public relations spanned notable roles at both Public Service of Colorado and Arizona Public Service, where she managed nuclear public relations. In addition to her professional achievements, she played a vital role in managing her family farms, demonstrating her multifaceted talents and dedication.
Trisha's personal life was deeply enriched by her marriage to her husband, David Heup. The love story between Trisha and David began as high school sweethearts in Slidell, LA. Although they lost touch after high school, fate reunited them ten years later while both attending separate work events in Boston. Their renewed romance blossomed into a lifelong journey, celebrating 44 years of marriage.
In 1995, Trisha and David embarked on a new chapter in their lives, with Trisha spearheading their dream to expand their family. After thorough research, they traveled halfway around the world to an orphanage in China where they adopted Megan at just six months old. They brought her home to Texas, where their lives were enriched further by raising Megan and later welcoming beautiful granddaughters Aurora and Alayah, continuing their unwavering legacy.
Preceded in death by her mother, Ellen Johnson, and father, Frank Condon, Trisha is survived by her loving husband David, their daughter Megan, and cherished grandchildren Aurora and Alayah.
Trisha was renowned not only for her professional achievements but also for her generosity, authenticity, decisiveness and powerful presence. Her impact on those around her was immeasurable, and she will be deeply missed by family and friends from around the globe.
A celebration of Trisha’s life will be held on Friday, August 23rd at Forest Park - The Woodlands Cemetery, providing an opportunity for all who knew and loved her to pay their respects and honor her memory.
